Frequently asked Questions...
1. Are we able to consult to Customers outside of the Western Cape area?
Of course, however traveling time and costs, and accommodation cost, will have to be additional.
2. How do we charge for our services?
As every project is unique, we can charge by the hour, daily, weekly or project by project, whatever suits you.
3. After you have worked out a solution, can you implement it for us?
As they say, "The proof is in the eating". We are not just talk, whatever we propose is workable & if you have a skills/staff shortage, we will be more than happy to implement the agreed solution. Step by step with you.
4. During implementation, are you able to give our staff hands-on training on how they need to manage the new system?
Definitely, as we have said before, we leave behind only workable solutions, this includes the staff knowing & UNDERSTANDING the new system and its benefits.
5. Are you able to work side-by-side with my staff & get them up to speed with the way they should be thinking, in their Supply chain role?
We are more than capable of hands-on training. Doing presentations & talks to large groups,
|
often get results, but nothing works better than living, eating & breathing the role with an employee. Talk-the-talk & walk-the-walk.
6. Do you look at packaging, warehousing, material handling, etc as separate issues?
As they might fall into different internal departments under different managers, we ALWAYS look at the full supply chain. Cradle to grave. From the supplier, through their transportation, to your receiving, into your warehousing, to your internal manufacture (value adding), back to warehousing, to despatch, transport again, right to your Customers' point of sale. As 50% of most costs are in the supply chain, it must be looked at holistically & treated and streamlined as one process.
7. Do you only do work for large companies & organizations?
No, whoever thinks (or knows) they have a problem or whoever would like us to have a fresh look at their own operation, is our potential Customer. All you have to do is pick up the phone or drop a line, but make contact. There is money to be saved in every "link of the chain".
